- Pantari, ruined home of the famous Oracle. She was unfailingly correct, but expensive. This was the Las Vegas of the ancient world. Although sacked many times, there are still untold riches in the ruins.

- Skaarsport, once the most important harbor in the north. Was overrun by zombies after an ancient tomb was despoiled. Necromancers control the place. Families who cannot pay the tax must supply corpses for the militia (must be less than 10 years dead, fresh is OK).

- Karpani, on the spice road to the East. Burial place of the great Khan, whose ghost is gathering a spirit horde to retake his empire from his treacherous sons.

- Ghedra, a half-man trading settlement. Any merchant, tribe or race may come here to trade. The peace is kept by tall-bred half-men.

- Urghna, the invisible city, cannot be seen from more than a half-mile away. Moves through the desert atop a large, drifting dune. Many escaped prisoners live here. Many died of thirst here as well.
