5 sp, Rust Monster Repellant (it’s really cheap cedar wood essence and it doesn’t work)

40 gp, Left Handed Dragon Fire Diverter <tm> (a 5×5 tin sheet of metal with arm straps, will melt in fire or acid breath, causing extra damage to those behind it)

5 gp, Bendy potion straw

1 cp, Map of snipe nests

5 cp, Nine foot pole

50 sp, 320 page tome

All prices are based on the silver standard (1gp in most games = 1 sp here)

I had to come up with five silly ideas to take one cheap shot…

I think I’m more likely to drop 5 cp on a Nine Foot Pole.

If you had a description, and I haven’t seen said tome, it might be something like, “The tome is authored to be all things to all readers and ends up disappointing by not having a distinct direction.”

BTW – good to see a new post. Your “Bogpiggie” idea popped into my head the other day.

Hah! 59sp for a hardcover is overpriced. I can get 30% off at Amazonas’s emporium.

Reminds me of purchasing “Demon Repelling Dirt” in one of the Judges Guild modules.

Full disclosure. I bought all three from my FLGS. The one that never discounts anything.

I like the rules, but not the implied setting. The art is largely boring, except in the monster manual, where the concepts are pretty cool in may cases but the execution is bland fantasy CCG art.
